Tier 1: Automated Resolution

Most disputes (payment delays, grade discrepancies) are resolved automatically by our system within 2 hours based on pre-set rules and escrow status.

Tier 2: Human Mediator

If automated resolution fails, a KrishiPulse mediator contacts both parties within 6 hours. They review evidence (photos, inspector reports, escrow records) and issue a binding decision within 24 hours.

Tier 3: Arbitration Panel

For disputes above ₹5 lakh or where either party rejects the mediator's decision, our 3-member arbitration panel reviews the case. Decision within 7 working days. All panel members are independent agri-market experts.

What Can Be Disputed?

Quality grade disagreements, payment timing, produce weight or quantity, logistics damage, and buyer no-show. You cannot dispute the outcome of a fair auction (all bids are binding).

How do I raise a dispute?
Go to your transaction → tap 'Raise Dispute' → select the issue type → upload evidence (photos, documents) → submit. You'll get a response within 6 hours.
Is there a fee to raise a dispute?
No. Dispute resolution is included in every farmer's subscription at no extra charge. Buyers pay a ₹500 dispute processing fee (refunded if the dispute is resolved in buyer's favour).
What if I'm not satisfied with the outcome?
You can escalate to Tier 3 arbitration within 48 hours of the Tier 2 decision. After arbitration, you may pursue civil remedies independently.
