Water Requirement
Critical at crown root initiation, tillering, jointing, grain filling stages
November 1–15 (optimal). Late sowing reduces yield. Seed rate: 100–125kg/hectare.
120–150kg N, 60kg P, 40kg K per hectare. Apply half N + full P + K as basal; remaining N at first and second irrigation.
Harvest at physiological maturity (golden yellow colour, grain moisture 12–14%). Mechanical harvesting with combine harvesters is standard.
