Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a central government scheme that provides ₹6,000 per year to eligible farmer families in 3 instalments of ₹2,000 each (April–July, August–November, December–March). The money is transferred directly to the farmer's bank account via DBT.
All landholding farmer families across India, subject to certain exclusions. Exclusions: income tax payers, institutional landholders, retired government employees drawing pension above ₹10,000/month, and professionals such as doctors, engineers, and lawyers.
1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in or use the KrishiPulse app. 2. Click 'New Farmer Registration'. 3. Enter Aadhaar number and captcha. 4. Fill farm and bank account details. 5. Submit and note your registration number. Through KrishiPulse, you can apply directly from the app after completing KYC.
Visit pmkisan.gov.in → 'Beneficiary Status' → enter Aadhaar/account number/mobile number. KrishiPulse app shows your PM-KISAN instalment status in the Government Schemes dashboard.
